Small group Rioja wine tour of 4 up to 7 people

Come and enjoy a Rioja wine tour in a very small group of up to 7 people!

The comfortable size of the group (2 to 3 couples in total usually) makes this a pleasant semi-private experience. Sightseeing and moving around is easy with 4-6 people because it’s a small party. Our group tours are small enough to feel like you’re exploring Rioja independently, but large enough to share your interest in wine and have an enriching experience with other like-minded wine lovers.

Moreover, as a very small group we have the flexibility to take advantage of the moment if the occasion arises (when the winemaker asks “do you have time for one more wine?” and pulls out another bottle).

We’ll have time to answer all your questions and also make sure everyone has plenty of time to enjoy themselves.

Set itinerary of a small group Rioja wine tour

Our small group Rioja tours are full-day tours (9am to 6pm) that follow a set itinerary. Here’s a little foretaste of what you can expect from a small group Rioja tour:

9am hotel pick up

9:30 walk to the vineyards to understand our grapegrowing practices and how wines are classified in the DOCa Rioja

10:00 stop for sightseeing and photos

10:30 Tasting #1

11:30 Tasting #2

1pm  Tasting #3

2pm farm-to-table home-made lunch paired with 2 wines at our private winemaking cellar underneath a 12th-century castle.

We do barrel tasting from a winemaker’s private collection and also drink bottled wine, which is a very interesting learning experience.

5pm sightseeing walk

6pm drop off at your hotel
